The first fun in learning a foreign language is reading. In Russian it is simple. There are 33 letters in our ABC. Correlation: letter - sound is direct. When reading we pronounce almost all letters in the way they sound in the ABC.  In our first lesson we will learn to read a short story and try to memorize the words constitutes it. Our lesson is a complex of three steps. Please,   follow the recommended succession of steps.

Step 1.   Listen to the story and arrange Russian sentences in the correct order.  The Russian story is presented in Latin transliteration. Guess and use the ABC.

Step 2.   Listen to the text. Make up sentences of words and arrange them in the correct order. 

Step 3. Match spelling and translation of words.
